Martha von Castelberg Foundation,

Thanks to Guido von Castelberg, a friend of mine and the son of Martha von Castelberg, who was a Zurich composer (1892 - 1971) I am a trustee of this foundation.
The purpose of the foundation is to preserve the compositions of Martha von Castelberg and to disseminate them by printing, performing and producing recordings of her compositions.
The foundation also archives and preserves objects related to Martha von Castelberg and preserves her memory, including through appropriate publications or support for such publications.
I have been working as a project manager, singer and consultant for this wonderful foundation since 2016 and am delighted to be able to help disseminate the compositions of this - one of the few Swiss female composers - in this way.
In 2020 I initiated a new recording of her music, the CD Martha von Castelberg, a woman composes in the silence of her time. It was released as a co-production with SRF2, and in 2021 we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of her death with a festival in the Augustiner Church in Zurich.
